Meet Buggy. Buggy is finally ready to find his forever home after four months of phenomenal foster care by his foster mom Marie. Buggy was about to be euthanized and our rescue tagged him. Our vet said it was one of the worst abuse cases they have ever seen. Buggy's ears had been completely cut off down to the skull. As if that wasn’t bad enough, a massive infection set in and completely obliterated his entire ear and ear canal. The infection was so bad it actually got into his brain and caused neurological problems. We treated Buggy for months…. antibiotics, vet visits, acupuncture, physical therapy, special home cooked diets to boost his immunities. He couldn’t even pee on his own because of the neurological issues. Now he is recovered. He still is a tad wobbly and deaf in that one ear but otherwise, he’s doing very well. He was so traumatized and now he is so happy. But he needs a special loving home where he will get lots of love and reassurance and tons of attention. Whoever did this to him really did a number on him… his fear and anxiety was very high at first, but now he’s doing great and learning to trust. I’d love to find him a quiet, loving home where he can get lots and lots and lots of attention. Could it be you? Buggy is some type of terrier, wire haired, perhaps some petite griffon??? He weighs about 20 pounds. He is just under one year old and completely vetted, he was also heartworm positive, but he has been treated for that so he is good to go.
