Meet Bug! This handsome GSP blend is four years old and would really love to be someone’s running or hiking buddy. He is energetic, enjoys being outside, and walks nicely on a leash, but he’s a vocal greeter when he sees another dog. He usually says BARK BARK BARK loudly, which translates to “Hi, I’m Bug! Whatcha doin?” After a good romp, he crashes and enjoys a nice nap.
Bug has been in our cell dog program learning manners and obedience, and he’s very smart. He is a large, strong boy, weighing almost 100 pounds, and he needs someone strong enough to confidently handle him. Bug is friendly and loving and gets along with other dogs. We do not recommend a home with cats, due to his prey drive and his size. He would be fine in a home with kids eight years and older.
Bug is housebroken, crate trained, up to date on his shots, and heartworm negative. His adoption fee is $400. If you think Bug is a perfect fit for your family, please apply to adopt Bug!
