Buffy

Buffy is a small Newfie, 80 pounds and built like a small black bear. Not sure why she would end up in a shelter and her family not come to look for her, but that is what happened. Buffy is insecure, she is scared to be abandoned. She didnt do well at our foster home because she didnt want to go out side in the back yard by herself to go potty, I now have her here at my home and she is doing great, but we are perimeter fenced, so she doesnt feel like she is enclosed or confined. I have not tried to put her in a crate because of her fear. She has been a fantastic dog in the house- not one accident. She also does not panic when she is left in the house alone during the day. She must have had a bad experience in an outdoor setting at some point in her life. She is just a wonderfully sweet dog and good with kids and other dogs. She is a bit skinny right now and she had so have part of her back end shaved due to the severe matting but she is going to be quiet the little bear princess when she grows the hair back.
