My Story

Buddy was abandoned in the woods and was in bad shape when his caregiver took him in. He had a terrible beginning and really deserves a happy ending. When he was found, he was about 44 pounds and covered with ticks and fleas. Now, he weighs about 65-70 lbs. and he is beautiful both inside and out. He is very friendly to people. Buddy also loves to be petted and will lie up against your legs and feet and occasionally will roll on his back and let you rub and scratch his belly. Buddy will carry the biggest rocks all around the yard. He has indestructible doggie toys which he likes, but still enjoys carrying rocks. Buddy does need to learn a few manners, he likes to jump, but otherwise will make a wonderful pet. He is working on training, and has learned to sit and come when called. Because of his large size and lack of manners, he will do best in a home without small kids. He does get along with other dogs but likes to chase cats. The vet is guessing his age at between 1 and 2. He’ll be up to date on vet care and neutered at adoption. If you are interested in meeting Buddy, please contact Joan at [email protected]. GSDRGA has not met this dog, he is posted as a guest, so all questions should be directed to his caregiver.
