Buddy is definitely one of my personal favorites. He is a Shih Tzu and Beagle crossbred and is one of the cutest and funniest little characters that we have gotten into this rescue. Buddy is 4-5 months old now and weighs about 12 lbs. He came from an Arkansas shelter and nobody wanted to adopt him because he had a condition called "cherry eye." This is quite common in dogs and is a tear gland that sits on the outside of the eye. Buddy had surgery to correct this condition when he was neutered and is now good to go. This little guy loves other animals and would play for hours if you let him. He will be a wonderful pet for some lucky family. Buddy is already neutered, microchipped, shots are up to date, on Heartgard preventative, wormed and had Advantix applied to prevent fleas and ticks. His adoption fee is $475 and will not even cover his medical expenses and the $150 transport fee that got him to CT. Please request a questionnaire if you are interested in adding Buddy to your family. We always reserve the right to select the home we feel will be best for each particular dog.
