BUDDY

This beautiful pup (called Buddy for now) was found abandoned in a park, hiding in a field of overgrown grass. He was found with another puppy and both were so hungry, thirsty and needed a good bath. We decided to help out and bring Buddy to our house. After a few weeks of TLC, Buddys personality is shining through! Buddy is doing well on leashed walks and is learning to play fetch. He is also learning to sit and loves to cuddle on the couch. He has a beautiful, smooth, short haired coat. Buddy is getting along with our other dogs and loves to play! I think he would do well with another dog in the home to play with. Buddy will need continued potty training, but accidents in the house have reduced so we are encouraged he will be fully house trained. Because Buddy was left to fend for himself for an unknown amount of time, he has displayed some food aggression, but oddly only with his sibling puppy that he was found with. Again, with a little more time and training, Buddy probably can be trained out of this behavior. For now, we practice monitored feeding at set times and monitor all treats when given. Buddy is going to be a great dog and friend, hell just need some consistency and love.
