Buddy

Buddy is a tall, beautiful 3-year old tri-color English Setter who is looking for a forever home. His previous owners abandoned him at a local shelter. He has since been rescued by TLC Rescue in Plano and has recently been treated for heartworms, in which he can't be adopted until he has a negative reading on HW's. He has been also been neutered, micro-chipped and he is up-to-date on his vaccinations. He is currently underweight, but his foster-mom is trying to remedy that.
English Setters can have strong hunting instincts, but more than anything, English Setters love being with their people. Buddy will need a home that will allow him to live and sleep indoors with his people. For his safety, a 6-foot privacy fence would be ideal. His new family must understand that he should never be allowed off-leash to run free before he is trained for proper recall.
We are sorry to advise that we are not accepting applications for Buddy from outside Texas (or a bordering state). We hope we can find Buddy a forever home close to TLC Rescue's home base and his current foster home.

Please contact us to receive an Adoption Application or for any questions you may have about Buddy. Our adoption process also includes an adoption application, vet reference, and a home visit. If you have other pets, we require that they also must be spayed and/or neutered, current on their vaccinations, and on Heartworm preventative. Buddy’s adoption fee is $175.
