Buddy (A135021) is a 6-year-old Lab mix who weighed 65.7 pounds on intake! 06/25/24 This lovely boy is Buddy! Buddy was surrendered to the shelter because his prior owner was no longer able to care for him. Buddy appears to be housebroken and knows a few basic commands. However, he is eager to learn and would benefit from attending a basic obedience class to continue sharpening his mind and to learn an additional trick or two. Buddy lived with other dogs and was said to do well with them. When introducing Buddy to new potential friends please ensure you do so in a slow, safe, and controlled environment. He was to have previously gotten into a minor disagreement with another dog in the home when food was involved so taking that extra measure to feed him separately from other animals would set Buddy up for a better chance at succeeding. Buddy has a truly loving personality, and in the right home, we are sure he will be a wonderful addition to his next home! If you are interested in meeting Buddy, please let us know!
