My Story

My Name is Buddy and I am a Treeing Walker Coon Hound. I was found wandering the road and I was brought here to The Brown County Humane Society in Nashville Indiana. I am 5 years old and walk with a slight limp as I have an old injury. Since being here at the shelter I have put on some weight, my limp has improved and my coat is tri-colored but mostly pure white. I tend to be very laid back and unassuming and as a result sometimes get lost in the hustle and bustle of daily life here. But I have some self appointed guardians who put me at the top of their list. I know that if I am patient the right owner will come along and I will have a safe porch to lie on and a companion I can call my own. One of the quirky things I do is to get scrunched up in my kennel mate's dog bed which is obviously too small, but I still like it.
