He's a happy, playful little guy who loves to run, chase balls, and wrestle with kids and other dogs. Buddy needs a home that can keep up with his active nature. He’s got those sharp puppy teeth and loves to chew on toys, but once he’s tuckered out, he’s the perfect cuddle buddy. Buddy is a 5-month-old, 10-pound Bichon Frise with an adorable personality. Potty training is a work in progress, but we’re making strides. He needs to be fed separately from our passive dog, Rose, because he tends to gobble up all the food without any growling or aggression. I do want to highlight that Buddy is very active & as is typical of puppies, is still in the nipping phase. Because of this, a home without very small children would be best. We do not ship our dogs and require home visits. Must live in area to adopt, will not respond to out of area/country requests. Additionally we require physically fenced yard for dog/pup to play in safely. Exceptions are sometimes made to this requirement but is up to the foster and more often done for the small breed dogs. All our dogs have been treated with dewormer; heartworm tested (if age appropriate -7 mths or older); treated for fleas/ticks; microchipped; and examined by veterinarian plus given age appropriate vaccinations. We take every effort to ensure the health of the animal and you will receive a copy of all vet work performed at time of adoption.
