My Story

My Story:

Hi! My name is Bucky. I am a male Saint Bernard and am about 1-1/2 years old.

I came to the shelter after my old family couldn't keep me anymore. You see, they had a farm and I liked to chase the calves. I think I was just looking for someone my own size to play with, but apparently that's not a good thing.

Being just a young guy, I am hoping to find a new forever home where my people will teach me what is acceptable and what is not. I am a really friendly guy, and with a little guidance, know that I would be a great family member.

Please keep in mind that I am a big guy--about 127 lbs.--so a home with small children may not be best for me. I wouldn't want to accidentally hurt them. Also, I am pretty young and do have a bunch of growing to do. I'm not sure how big I will get, but another 30 or 40 lbs. wouldn't be out of the question.

If you think a big guy like me would fit into your family, please stop by the shelter to meet me or fill out an adoption application right here online.

Since we are a private, non-profit charity, pets stay in our loving, fun atmosphere until they find not only "a home", but a great home!
