Buckie is a 5 year old, medium sized girl with a beautiful chocolate colored coat and big brown eyes to match. She is always happy, with a tail that never stops wagging. She loves playing with other dogs and showering everyone she meets with kisses.
To meet her now, you would never know the sadness of her story. Buckie was the only survivor of her siblings who were all shot and left for dead in a rural area of Natchitoches parish. An amazing Fauna volunteer saved her by pulling her from a culvert, she was shaking and badly injured. She has made a remarkable recovery, except for a slight tilt of her head which only adds to her cuteness!
Buckie has experienced the worst of human cruelty and now longs to live the good life with a family that will love her and spoil her rotten!
