Bubba * American Blue Heeler mix *1 year old and 46 lbs. *Just a good ole boy looking for a home and a job! Blue Heelers are intelligent and protective. They are loyal to their owners and are often referred to as "shadow dogs". Bubba is true to his breed! He is active and would make an excellent running or hiking buddy! He also can climb a fence. Please make sure his isn't left alone in the backyard. He loves your company so toss him a ball or teach him to catch a frisbee. This smart fella is up for anything fun! Bubba needs a place with plenty of space both inside and outside in which to run around! If mental and physical stimulation is your thing~Bubba should be your dog! Well, we will let you decide but word on the street is that this one man show IS funner than all those darn monkeys! Bubba is our curious explorer as he's always ready to go and do and at a good clip, might we add. Finding himselfin need of a home when he kept getting out of his yard, Bubba has energy to spare and will thrive in a busy environmentwhereby he feels no need and has no need to go seek excitement elsewhere. Bubba is very agile and athletically inclined and a busy bee! During phototime, he did plenty of scooting around but then would check in with hisnew human friends with some dartingkisses, maybe some paws in our laps and then impress us with a terrific "sit." Bubba is a smart, focused dog who would really excel and also benefitfrom a 101 dog training course. Exercising Bubba's brain, legs and lungs will bring out all of the magnificence that we know he has deep inside. Bubba is super friendly, interactive and ready to be in the thick of things. In perpetual happy smile and happy tail wag mode, it's our treat to keep reaching for our sleek jacketed friend til YOU whisk him away for the new pet assignment in your home. What a great day that will be for all. Facebook update July 5: Did you happen to notice if it was HOT or blistering HOT late this morning?? Well, ask any of our pets, like BUBBA and he might say, "It was frying pan hot...and sizzling." As insightful and super cool as Bubba is, he knew a good thing when he saw it. "It" being the pool outside our office door. Our handsome guy stepped right in and donned hot pink glasses to look even more cool and suave! This uber friendly, ready to go and do guy even found a snake as we were out walking around this morning and you guessed it...he remained very, very, calm and cool and collect as he slowly and methodically escorted it off site into a wooded area. Bubba is clearly a doggy of many talents most of which he is waiting for YOU to please discover. Check him out soon won't you?? Facebook update July 17: Has handsome hunk BUBBA been on your mind? If not, you would be remiss in not thinking how perfect a pet he might be for you. Bubba is a solid framed, sporty guy who is an explorer at heart, who loves being in the thick of things and interacting and engaging with his human makes him most happy. He loves leash walks, wading in pools of water and is one of "the" best sitters for a snack. You almost don't even need to ask him to sit and he's sitting. A more active, playful doggy, his rare claim to fame is finding a snake in our walking area and exhibiting immense calm and cool as he steadily and slowly escorted the snake off the property and under a fence line! LOL. He's still here waiting for YOU so please, won't you come on by and say "Hi" and expect to be impressed. We are no doubt!
