Brutus

Brutus is a very large Rottweiler mix, weighing in at 100 lbs. He was born around 2/2001. This big guy is friendly with other dogs and likes people of all kinds. He is road smart, knowing to stay away from traffic. Brutus is not one to roam away from the yard and can be trusted outdoors. Brutus does have a problem chewing, though, and definitely needs some aversion training to get him to stop the destructive-type chewing. His chewing seems to be related to separation anxiety, happening only when his people are not home. Confining Brutus to an area with appropriate items to chew may be all it takes to stop this problem behavior. A vet can be consulted about anti-anxiety meds, too, if it does become a problem in his new home. Brutus is good with kids of all ages, and great with other dogs. He doesn't much care for cats, so should not go to a home with resident cats. He isn't much into going for rides, but does enjoy watching traffic.
