Good in a home with
Bruno is a big dog and very strong and we recommend he does not go to a home with young children. We are looking for an expereinced "bully" breed owner that can help teach Bruno what's ok and what isn't when he wants to play. He is very smart, so will need a consistent owner or he'll figure out for himself how to do something. Once he knows what is expected of him, he is an absolutely terrific dog.He likes to lean into people for a good rub, and will do just about anything for peanut butter! If Bruno has a canine companion, they should be similar in size as he does like to play. Small dogs or cats are not recommended, and because of his play style, a dog introduction is required prior to taking him home.
Bruno will be your friend for life, and you will have an excellent companion to take walking, jogging, or have a good snuggle on the couch at the end of the day.
Because of his size Bruno's adoption fee is $300 plus the $50 training deposit. Our shelter has to spend more money to get him neutered, give him his monthly Frontline and Heartgard, and more to feed. We want to prepare his future home for the higher costs of owning an extra large dog.
COST: Adoption Donations: Adult Dogs (over 1 year of age) - $175
Puppies (under 1 year of age) - $250
Both Adult dogs and Puppies have a required $50 deposit ontop of the adoption donation that will be refunded to the adopter after the proof of a completed training class with in 4 months of adoption.
The fee includes all vet care such as spay/neuter, vaccinations, Microchip,heartworm test, heartgard, frontline, grooming and any other vet care needed to be sure each animal is ready for adoption.
