Bruiser (sm)

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. This boy is Bruiser. This one is a bit more of a special 'attitude' case. He is a fully vetted( and neutered some pics were from when he first arrived), 6-8 pounds, 4-6 year old, Male, Housebroken, Chihuahua. We dont know what he has been through in his life, but we suspect it wasnt good. He makes a horrible first impression, by acting.. well, Chihuahua. He will avoid & try to nip or grab if he is sitting in foster mom's lap and you reach for him. HOWEVER.. he is great with kids & will come to you if you let him.. No grabbing him up to snuggle unless he is asking for it. He really loves children, but does play hard so older, dog-savvy kids are required. He cannot go to a home with any other animals Zero, Nada, NONE. He will not adapt to them, he is anxious and confrontational (foster mom has tried, it's not going to happen for him) He needs a fenced area when outside as he will run away if not on a leash. I think he would do best with an older family who needs a companion who can be independent, or have the option to snuggle up for a cuddle. Are you his new person?
