My Story

Donate Dober Duds BRUISER. Hello, my name is Bruiser and I’m a 4 year old Doberman. I am big boy at close to 100 lbs. I am a goofy happy guy who likes nothing more than a good head rub especially when you let me lay my head on your lap. My family loves me very much but has a new baby on the way and I am not good with small children. I’m great with older children though as I love attention and I love to play. I enjoy going for rides in the car, especially to the dog park. I love playing with other dogs my size but can be a little rough with small dogs. I currently live with two cats however if they run from me I will chase them so I should only be around cats that are comfortable with dogs. I do have a high prey drive so I probably shouldn’t live with other small animals. I am fantastic on a leash and would probably excel at further obedience training. I am crate trained and housebroken and know my basic commands like how to sit, shake, and lie down. I have good manners in the house, I don’t jump up on guests and I’m not a big licker however when you are not watching I like to steal a comfy spot on the couch. I am not a dog for beginners as I sometimes think I’m head of the household and need to be reminded that I am a pack member and not in charge. I do have an incontinence problem that is under control with a morning and evening pill which I take without any hassle. I currently have a 3 month supply of the medication that will come with me (phenylpropanolamine). Adoption Application
