A meet and greet with other dogs in the home is required before adoption can be completed. Meet Bruce, an adorable 8 month old pittie mix with a heartwarming story of resilience. Bruce was found as a stray and was on the brink of euthanasia when Berea Animal Rescue stepped in to save his life. Diagnosed with parvo, his situation was dire, but with dedicated care and treatment, Bruce made a full recovery! Now, this sweet puppy is a bundle of typical puppy energy. However, Bruce has a unique ability to keep other dogs around him calm, showcasing his gentle nature. He shows great interest in other dogs and would likely thrive with a canine companion. He lived with a cat named Kobe during his Parvo treatment and though Bruce initially kept his distance, his curiosity led him to become friends with Kobe. Despite Kobe's dominance, Bruce remained sweet and fun, always ready to play. Bruce is also quite fond of his crate and is good at getting into it, especially when treats are involved. While he's had a few accidents, he's learning quickly. He thinks he's a lap dog and loves to pounce around, adding to his charming personality.
