Brownie-Adopted!

Brownie was very scared when he first arrived in foster care, but is blossoming. We believe that Brownie was abused, probably for housetraining accidents. Brownie does appear to be housebroken though. Brownie likes to snuggle with his foster mom and is a quiet dog. We recommend no children under the age of 12. Brownie loves attention and is a quiet, gentle little dog. He loves to lay in his dog bed and nap during the day. Brownie will make the perfect companion for someone who wants a lap dog!

Brownie is a cute little 2 year old shih tzu. Brownie likes other dogs and is very friendly. He was given up because he had accidents- neutering will help this, also cratetraining which will be started in foster care. Brownie has a vet appointment on 12-30-06 for grooming, neutering, vaccinations, etc, and new pictures will be added after his appointment.

Brownie is neutered, utd shots, kennel cough vaccinated, heartworm tested. His adoption donation is $175. We require an adoption application, references, adoption contract and home visit. We only adopt to families in SD, MN, NE, ND, IA.

Almost Home is run from foster homes. We have no facility for the public to come in and view pets.

We do not ship our dogs.

If you are out of state, it does take time to process your application and find a home visitor from another rescue to do your visit. Please be SERIOUS about adopting a dog from our rescue before submitting an application.
