Brownie was an owner surrender to the NYCACC - The New York City Animal Care Centers- The city's municipal shelter on NEW YEARS EVE ? . Their reason was because they were too busy. ? A foster stepped up to save her life and now she's ready to find her forever home. Yes Whenever someone meets Brownie their reaction is always the same: "I can't believe she's 8 years old." This spry, sweet girl cuddles her way into everyone's heart. All she wants are pets and attention (and peanut butter!). While she has some daily zoomies, she's perfectly happy cuddled up on her bed or in her crate and snoring away. Brownie is dog friendly and kid friendly, but would do better with a dog around her size or bigger. It is unknown how she would do with cats. When we first got her, she wasn't house trained, but she picked that up quickly and now sits at the door when she has to go out. Imagine what else this smart girl could learn!
