Meet Brooks: Your New Best Friend
Brooks is a resilient and loving 1.5-year-old pit bull who has had quite a journey in his young life. Abandoned as a puppy, Brooks was nursed by another mother dog and found a loving home. However, due to a breakup with his adoptive family, he is once again looking for a forever family to call his own.
Brooks is the epitome of friendliness. He loves meeting new people, including both adults and kids, and quickly warms up to strangers. His favorite activities include playing with toys, getting pets, and cuddling up with his favorite humans. With a bit of training under his belt, Brooks is potty trained and knows basic commands like "sit." He reliably responds to his name and comes inside when called.
At home, Brooks prefers to be around people rather than being left alone. He enjoys the company of other dogs once he’s properly introduced and has shown that he can be a great companion. However, Brooks might not be the best fit for a home with cats, as he has a tendency to chase them in the backyard.
Brooks is approximately 1.5 years old and weighs around 50 pounds, with a lot of muscle and energy to spare. He isn't a fan of going outside in the rain but is somewhat comfortable with taking baths. Being very food-driven, Brooks is easy to train with treats, making him an eager learner.
If you’re looking for an energetic, loving, and loyal companion, Brooks could be the perfect addition to your family. He’s ready to bring joy, love, and a bit of fun into his new home. Could you be the one to give Brooks the forever home he deserves?
