A big, happy, pretty mellow and incredibly social guy, six year old Brody is an absolutely wonderful Lab. He's a handsome, well proportioned 95ish pounds. A confident, friendly, outgoing boy, Brody loves to make friends.
Brody is housetrained and a very good boy in the house when you're away. He has been professionally trained by Terroux Training Kennels and has lovely manners. Brody knows his basic commands and will shake your paw for fun. He sits politely for interaction with folks, waits at doors and for his meals and has a good sit-stay and down-stay; he comes when called, takes treats nicely and walks politely on a loose leash as well as at a "heel". He is quite good on off leash hikes and loves to retrieve, bringing the ball back and then sitting to wait for the next toss. Even though it's chilly out right now, Brody mentioned he enjoys a swim in the warmer weather.
Brody will flourish in a household that is on the quieter, low key and more relaxed side. He has a marvelous personality and has done very well in his training, donated by one of our supporters, while in our care. A home that will provide leadership, structure and regular exercise is a must. Brody's new family will have an opportunity to work with Brody's professional trainer and mentor (at no additional cost) as they all settle in together.
Big, happy, strikingly handsome, well-mannered, friendly, pleasantly active and a delight to be around, Brody is an accommodating Lab who's ready when you are to relax or head out for a hike. And right now he's hoping you're ready to come on over and get acquainted!
