Meet Brodie, our handsome and friendly brindle Dutch Shepherd! At 45 pounds, he's the perfect medium-sized companion. Brodie is finding the shelter environment intimidating, but he's slowly learning to trust our wonderful volunteers and fellow dogs. Beneath his cautious exterior lies a playful, affectionate spirit, especially when he's with gentle and calm canine friends. Brodie's ideal family will be patient and understanding, helping him build confidence and showing him the world isn't such a scary place after all. He is energetic and at times jumpy, but with a little love and reassurance, Brodie is sure to blossom into a loyal and loving member of your family. Brodie has participated in shelter playgroups but he's pretty scared and still learning how to 'dog'. He's improving in playgroups and we think he may enjoy a compatible canine friend in his new home. Looking for a buddy for your dog? To help expedite the meet and greet process, please make note of my Animal ID number, and those of other dogs you might be interested in meeting. Be sure to bring your ID with you, too.
