In foster near Olympia, WA
BRANDI is possibly a Miniature Pinscher. She has a naturally short tail...about 4-5 in long. She is only about 1 1/2 yrs old and very playful and active. She weighs 20#s and is full grown. Brandi gets along with other dogs... big & small, young & old. She does follow my cats around a bit, but not with the determination to attack. She is also house trained. At this time, she is leery of strangers. She will bark and needs a formal introduction before she accepts you. She does favor women. I do not recommend that she go to a home with young children...older children that understand how to treat a dog would be possible. Brandi does have the energy level that she could go on hikes and active trips. She is a fun dog and loves affection.

FOSTER'S COMMENTS: Words cannot describe how cute Brandi is and how much she lights up a home; we love her so much! Brandi was extremely kind and loving to her foster siblings from the start, even if they were pretty mean to her. She’s very smart and lets herself out the backyard for her bathroom breaks. Every time we come down the stairs, she raises her front paws in the air and squeals like she’s at a rock concert and wags her cute little tail. She sure has a way to make us feel loved and special! She absolutely loves toys and plays fetch with herself and gives plenty of kisses to everyone in the family. She is also aware that she is bigger than her 6 lb foster siblings and is very gentle around them and is starting to be quite the snuggle bug. Brandi would do great with a family and other furry friends she can snuggle and kiss. She will take a little over a week to warm up to you, but when she does, she will fill your heart with lots of love.

HOW ABOUT FOSTERING? If you are not in the position to afford a puppy/dog but still want to be an important factor in dog rescue, we recommend fostering. Fostering ensures you incur no vet bills and no boarding fees while saving a life and enjoying the love of a canine companion. We are always in need of good fosters. This is a post on behalf of Pet Central SATX Rescue, headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 350,000 homeless pets. We have hundreds of puppies/dogs available so there really is no need to apply anywhere else. Also, one application is good even if you are interested in several different dogs...one application no matter which one you choose.
Thank you for choosing to adopt a rescue pup/dog. We firmly believe there is NO breed other than "rescue" for all species. Thank you for being part of the village it takes to save these precious lives.
