Bowser

Meet adoptable Bowser! ? Bowser came in at the beginning of the month as a stray who was never reclaimed by his previous owners. He is a wonderful guy who was obviously a house dog at some point. Since his previous owners haven't reclaimed him, he is now available fo adoption through our shelter. As you can probably tell, this guy has a little grey around his muzzle! Bowser is an older gentleman who is over the puppy shenanigans and just looking to lay at someone's feet or across their lap while they hang out on the couch. Now, don't be fooled. He still has some energy to burn off and would love a nice home with some land to roam when the days are nice, but for the most part he just wants to relax! He is gentle enough to be good in a home with younger children and elderly, but playful enough to be your companion for adventures as well. Bowser loves long nature walks, and would love to accompany you on yours! He is dog friendly, but can be grumpy at times and would need to be in a home with other dogs who are laid back like him rather than rambunctious youngins'. Please consider Bowser if you're looking for a loyal and gentle companion! Bowser is about 7 years old and weighs 58 pounds at this time. He has been vaccinated, treated for internal/external parasites, but has tested positive for heartworm disease and will need treatment at some point.
