My name is Buddy and I am a 3 month old Collie mix puppy. I am tri-color with a short tail and medium length fur. I was born in MO and ended up in a shelter that would have put me to sleep if someone from the H. Dale Buck Animal Welfare wouldn’t have saved me and brought me to Emporia to be adopted. I am a very sweet and loving puppy that wants to be loved and cherished. My hobbies include sleeping, eating, playing, and more sleeping since I am so young. Right now I do a lot of sleeping, but I have a feeling since I am going to me a medium to large size dog that I will need a home that will exercise with me. I am being fostered by a family that has 3 other dogs of all sizes and I LOVE to play with them. Toys are all over my foster home floor since I am teething and love to chew on them. One of my favorite things to do is to sleep on my new dog bed during my occasional cat naps. All of my vaccinations are current, I have been dewormed and neutered, and I even have a new micro-chip. All applicants must provide a vet reference on the adoption application. If you are adopting a dog from the Buck Fund, a fenced in yard for the dog will be required. Home visits often occur on each adoption. The Buck Fund has the right to deny adoption to any applicant for any reason. Please remember that the adoption fee is not for purchase of a dog, but rather to cover the medical cost of all dogs in our care.
