Meet Boston AKA Boss! He is currently being fostered in Moncton, NB, and is looking for his forever home. Before arriving in the Maritimes, Boston had been found as a stray and stayed in a South Carolina shelter for 2 years. He is initially very timid and sometimes fearful of strangers, but once he knows you, he is a big lovebug! He is a great and steady companion. If you're an active family, he can keep up. If you want to relax, he will happily relax next to you. He loves his walks and spending time with his dog friends. He is very dog friendly and loves canine companionship! You really can't ask for a better boy. Boston is 5 years old and weighs 50-55lbs. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm negative. Boston is medicated for epilepsy, which costs roughly $52/month. *********** Boston is located in a foster home. We are happy to coordinate a meet & greet for pre-approved adopters. To get started, please submit an adoption application at bit.ly/HOTNADOPT2024 Adoption process: Potential adopters complete our online application. From there, we set up a Facebook Messenger Chat to contact them to continue the screening process including checking references, vet checks, and a personal phone interview. Upon completion, potential adopters are pre-approved. From there, potential adopters are put in touch with the foster parent(s) of the dog they are interested in adopting. If a specific dog is not in mind, admins will make suggestions based on who we feel will be good candidates for their home. We take the foster's opinions into high consideration when determining ideal fit for an adoption. Once the dog is determined to be a good fit for the adoptive home, the adopter is given advisement on decompression, training, safety gear, and future preventative vetting. The adoption contract is signed and adoption fee paid to finalize the adoption.
