ADOPTED SEPTEMBER, 2007- Like many great Pit Bulls Boss had a hard start to life, yet remained the very picture of loving and sweet, exactly what we expect of Pit Bull temperaments. Low-key in the house, and truthfully not much more energetic out and about, he quickly proved himself to be an easy-keeper and great first-timer Pit Bull. So we matched him up with first time foster parent Mike, who in turn matched him up with his good friend's family who are first-time Pit Bull adopter. At first they were unsure of the breed, but the Patrick family were soon loving Boss and the rest is history. Congratulations to all of you on this happy union!
Boss is a big goofy boy who is a lovely example of the bully breeds. Calm and mellow in the housebut once outside loves to play and romp. He gets along great with dogs, cats, and is even okay with his foster sibling who is a rat--although the rat is definately not too sure about him! Boss would make a great addition to any home and just needs a place to call his own--and possibly a warm bed to snuggle up in at night.
