My Story

seen April 14th, was adopted April 20th/7 by M. Kormann, near Hanover. What a charmer.....he gives lots of soft, little kisses on the cheek. Bosley has been a gem at the foster home even though he just got there before easter - he has been around babies, cats, dogs, little boys, and even with lots of food on tables and cupboards - no issue. He was just like a douting father around the kids and he likes to kiss their ears.... His breed originates from a spaniel being crossed with a bassett hound. They have the spaniel coat but the thicker bassett build and shorter legs. He is the sweetest little dog. His haircut suggests he was once well-loved, (it is short in back and like a lion's ruff in front). He is good in the vehicle. He is 3 yr old. He is now fixed. He is Black merle and white. He is a cutie. He is Kennel trained- makes no messes when boarding. Sadly he is very upset to be left home alone and does not do well crated so he would be best in a home with people around working at home. Vet tech originally told us he is very happy around females, young and old, but that he tends to be fearful of males and did urinate when approached by a client, however we have had no problem with him and his caregiver at the boarding kennel since was even a male. Over easter he was incontact with 4 different men and he had no problems with them. Although one man was playing peek a boo with his baby, jumping out from behind things and jumping up and down and this bothered Bosley. But when this same man came over to him and got down to his level he was ok. He is likely not used to this. We just got him March 28th. he was neutered, and vaccinated and was treated with Drontal Plus to deworm on April 9th. (will be boostered by adoptive home within the week of adoption)

if interested in him- log on to www.adoptapet.lucknow.on.ca, click on the adoption link, scroll down the page till you see the dog adoption application form, fill it out, email it to [email protected]

He will come with collar and ID tag, some transitory food, and is eligible for a training course at On Golden Paws in Varna - adoption fee is $200. WE DO NOT ADOPT OUT OF PROVINCE OF ONTARIO.
