It's me, Bosely, here to tell you all about myself. I may look like a big ol' teddy bear with my 45-pound frame, but let me tell you, my heart is even bigger! I'm what they call a social butterfly—I get along with everyone, whether they're furry or not. Whether I'm chasing around with my doggy buddies or snuggling up with my human pals, I'm always spreading joy and warmth wherever I go. Now, I gotta be honest with you—I'm currently going through a little bit of a rough patch. Yup, I'm undergoing treatment for heartworm at the local vet. But don't you worry, it's nothing contagious to my furry friends, and the folks at the vet are taking real good care of me. All I need is a nice, calm place to kick back and relax while my body does its thing and kicks those pesky heartworms to the curb. But let me tell you, despite this little setback, my spirit is still as strong as ever, and my heart is just as full of love. With a little bit of care and a whole lot of TLC, I'll be back on my paws in no time, ready to charm my way into the hearts of my forever family. She/He is currently located in Chicago's southwest suburbs and can be seen by appointment once an adoption application is completed and approved by the rescue. We cannot hold our dogs for any reason. Unless the dog or puppy is fully vetted we will only consider applications that are within 1 hour or 40 miles of Lemont, IL. This is due to the required vetting at our partner veterinarians. If the dog or puppy is fully vetted we will allow adoptions out of state or outside of our 1 hour or 40 mile restriction. Please do not apply unless you are ready to meet and welcome a new companion into the home within five days of approval.
