Bosco

“My sad story is all too common” says Bosco, “I was a cute puppy but when I got bigger my former people lost interest and abandoned me on the street without food, water, or shelter. However, I got lucky, I was rescued.” Bosco relates that “before I was rescued I had given up all hope, I had become dehydrated skin and bones but worst of all I was so scared and all alone.”

Bosco, who is now a gorgeous and healthy one-year-old Border Collie/Retriever mix with a clean bill of health, writhes with happiness as he recalls how his rescuers removed his tight collar (“it was growing into my neck!”) and took him to a wonderful cool house that had lots of food, water, toys, treats, love, and playful foster sisters. Bosco also visited the vet to received all his vaccinations, get neutered & microchipped.

Yet Bosco is still sad because he hasn’t found his forever loving family. When asked what his ideal family would be like, Bosco looked thoughtful and answered, “they would appreciate my active intelligence, inquisitive nature, licks and kisses, sweetness, beautiful, soft, and fluffy (and non-shedding) coat, playfulness, and lively nature. I would love to have some dog sisters or brothers to play with in a fenced yard. I hope that my forever family would take me to a basic obedience class and heck, I would love to give agility a try because I am so smart, fast, easy and eager to learn, and I think it would be such fun!
