Boris is a gentle and loving 2 year old Redbone boy waiting in southern Alabama for a new home. A delivery driver spotted a skeletal dog tied to a porch railing with speaker wire that was embedded in his neck. After asking the homeowner about the dog's condition, the driver was given the dog and then contacted Rescue. Now safe in his foster home, Boris has responded beautifully to his new life of being loved and he is such a nice companion. Now in good weight at almost 60 lbs, he has nice house manners and knows how to use the doggie door. Boris currently lives in a house with other dogs and kids and would probably enjoy an active family life in the future. Outside, he can be vocal in play or letting everyone know where the squirrel is, but he does not bay endlessly for no reason. Boris is equally happy playing, then lounging, and he loves going for a walk. This guy is a wonderful save and someone will be lucky to get him! Transport options east and northeast are available.
