Boris

My current foster writes: Boris is a special dog. He gets stopped everywhere he goes with his handsome looks and friendly, playful personality. He loves to be loved. He has excellent house training and can be left out of the crate with no issues. Its hard to not fall in love with Boris. He is very curious and loves to interact with his environments. He is extremely social and wants to engage with everyone. Friendly with other dogs with his playful, endearing puppy energy. My foster writes: Meet Boris, a charming 2-year-old pitbull mix who's as sweet as they come! Boris has an affectionate and gentle nature, complete with love nibbles delivered by his adorable little teeth. He's a lover of apples and a connoisseur of turkey and rice, always ready for a game of tug of war or a chew on his favorite toys. Boris thrives on companionship, whether it's snuggling in bed or sitting cozily on your feet. He's incredibly gentle with other dogs and has a surprisingly quiet demeanor-he hasn't barked once all weekend in his foster home (he might just be the perfect apartment companion)! He's also a quick learner; he recently discovered the joy of playground slides and can't get enough of it. However, Boris is a bit skittish around balloons and his reflection in mirrors or windows, but he quickly learns they're not a threat and settles down. On particularly hot days, Boris shows his laid-back personality by laying down on the sidewalk to protest too-long walks, so make sure you've got some water with you if you're taking him on a long walk on a hot summer day! Beyond his playful antics, Boris is a perfect work-from-home buddy who loves to follow you around the house. He even snores like a grown man when he's deep in slumber! If you're looking for a faithful and loving companion to brighten up your days, Boris is your perfect match. What my friends at ACC say about me: My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet! I love getting pets and - you guessed it - snuggles! His name is Boris. He is just the perfect bundle of dog! Boris is calm and quiet in his kennel. When I approached to take him out for the second time yesterday, he was sound asleep, obviously having a dream because he was twitching away. Boris enjoyed being out and about, he's a big sniffer. And it must be confessed that he may need a bit of leash walking training. On our second outing, we hung for a long time in the back yard where Boris could wander around off leash. He regularly strolled back to me for snuggling and caresses. Oh, I forgot to mention that Boris is a very handsome fellow. Come meet this absolutely charming guy at Manhattan ACC.
