Boots

7/27/07: GOOD NEWS!!! Scooter(his real name) was missing for a year but has been reunited with his owner! Scooter has finally gotten to go home! Many thanks to his rescuer for making this reunion possible and for taking care of Scooter! Boots was found as a stray at a busy intersection begging for someone to pick him up and take him with them. One nice lady was concerned that he may get hit and did just that. She has flyers posted around town hoping to find his owner however she has had no luck so far. We will look for Boot's owner for a bit longer but if noone comes forward to claim him, he will need a new home with a loving family who will not let him get into those busy streets. He is an unneutered male and of course, we don't know his vacc or health history yet. This will all be completed before he goes to his new home!Boots is an active boy(might like to play ball and go for runs with you!)...typical of the jack russell...but enjoys LOTS of affection and love! Boots is described by his foster mom: I am a rescue dog and my foster mother calls me "Boots" which I don't respond to right now(I don't think that this was my name so it might take me alittle while to get used to!). I do understand no,come,down, good boy, hi baby(so someone must have loved me and spent time with me before!). I love baby talk and love to show off and drag my legs along the ground and get silly. I crave love all the time. I am a house dog and I appear to be completely housebroken. I am healthy and eat very well. I was given a capstar this morning, a flea collar, and a dog biscuit. I love everybody and I have a wonderful personality(although I am a bit shy sometimes but I think think that is only because I am not quite sure what has happened to me or where I am yet!). Please give me a good home so I can be happy again!
