My Story

Boomer was picked up as a stray in Gettysburg,PA. Like most Shiba's he did not do well in the shelter. He withdrew and hid in the corner of his pen. (strange place, people he loved no where around. Who wouldn't be scared.)
He was put on a not adoptable list and would have been euthanized if the shelter couldn't find a rescue group to take him.
But Boomer won his battle in Gettysburg and is now in a foster home.

Boomer can be dog friendly with non aggressive dogs. He is house broken, sits for treats,is Crate trained ( he goes into his crate all by himself at night to go to sleep)

Boomer loves to play ball, is not food aggressive nor protective of his toys. He is a joy to be around, and is now looking for his Independence Day, where he gets a new family and home to love him for the rest of his years.
Boomer is approximately 3 years young.

We would strongly suggest that you research the breed. Shiba are notorious escaper artists and must alway be kept on lead or in secure enclosure. Experience with Shibas or similar breeds is highly desirable.
