Booker is a purebred, black Briard. He is almost 3 years old and weighs about 75#. He was surrendered to us by his owner because Booker was a little too attached to the husband and would growl at the wife. He was adopted out for about 9 months and the same thing happened again, this time growling at the husband! Booker needs a person who completely understands what it means to be the Leader of the Pack.
Booker started out in the show ring. Because of this, he is used to being groomed and walks very nicely on a leash.
Booker has been through Basic Obedience and knows SIT, DOWN, COME, etc. He also spent time in Agility class and was a natural. He was also a working dog with horses and thoroughly enjoyed that!
Booker gets along with other dogs and cats. He is very indifferent when he meets new people—he attaches to one person very quickly. Booker is very playful with other dogs and would enjoy a playmate.

p>This dog's adoption fee is $500 (plus tax). This includes being spayed/neutered, current on Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella vaccinations, wormed, microchipped with the HomeAgain microchip, heartworm tested (negative) and medicated year round while in our care, and has been through a Basic Obedience class and an Agility Class.The first step in our adoption process is to fill out an application.
