Meet Boogie! He is a smart and active five-year-old dog who weighs 58 pounds. Boogie is a gorgeous pup with a shiny coat and a curious personality. He has already learned some basic commands like sit, shake, and go to your bed, but he is always eager to learn more. Boogie has a unique requirement, though. He needs to be the only dog in the home so that he can flourish and be the best version of himself. He loves to have all the attention on him and doesn't like to share it with other dogs. Boogie is a happy-go-lucky guy who loves to thoroughly examine all of his toys. He is always excited to play tug of war with his human friends, but sometimes he forgets that the leash is not a rope toy. He is a gentle and well-behaved dog who loves to be around people and make new friends. Thank you for looking at dogs from the Guernsey County Dog Warden Dept. We are a county run facility in Cambridge, OH, we are NOT a no kill shelter! Unfortunately, we must euthanize due to illness or aggression. Adoption fees are $165 for dogs under 5 years old, $100 for dogs over 5 years old and $200 for cell dogs. Adoption fees include, Vaccine (dhpp), Bordetella, Microchip, Heartworm and Lyme testing, Rabies vaccine, Spay/Neuter and a dog license. Dogs will be required to be spayed/neutered before leaving shelter, if not an appointment will be scheduled before leaving the shelter. Please talk to shelter staff for more information. We only accept cash. We cannot take checks, debit or credit cards. You may also call the shelter: Office hours are Tuesday-Saturday 9am-5pm. Shelter public hours for visitation are Tuesday-Saturday 11am-4pm. Applications can be emailed or faxed if requested. If coming from out of town, please call ahead to make sure the dog is still available. Approved rescues also welcome!!!!
