My Story

Adoption Pending!

BooBoo - Baby (9-10 weeks as of July 10) - Black Lab - 16 pounds - male

Smarter than the average bear, little BooBoo (he's really a little blocky Lab pup) did not despair when he and his sister were "dropped off" (carried away in a car and abandoned) near a wildlife preserve in rural West Virginia.

Little BooBoo set his sights on food and love, and with his sister in tow, they lumbered into the heart of a rescuer whose home bordered the state forest. A week's worth of groceries later, BooBoo and FooFoo have recovered from their incredible journey, and are now just waiting for the Homeward Bound portion of their trip.

BooBoo is a very earnest, endearing, outgoing and gentle fellow. He has the most honest and direct eye contact imaginable, and a soft pink tongue that he uses freely to give kisses. He is chunky and stocky with a figure like a little cookstove; he has a wonderfully trusting demeanor.

BooBoo is probably a Lab mix, although he looks exactly a lab (or a black bear cub); we are presuming that his Shepherd-y looking companion is his sister. Whether he is a mutt or a Lab, BooBoo is an irresistibly wonderful guy.
