Meet Bonteri! Introducing Bonteri, our adorable four-year-old Frenchie girl. Bonteri was rescued from a puppy mill where she spent the first two years of her life as a breeding dog. Because of this, she has some anxiety surrounding being crated, but she has done well free-roaming in her foster home without causing any trouble. With a regular potty schedule, she has quickly picked up on housetraining. This sweet girl LOVES attention and is happy to take it from anyone who will share it, whether it's her foster family or the neighborhood kiddos who come to visit. Bonteri is a smart girl who knows her commands, but true to her breed, she is selective about when she complies. Her stubbornness is endearing though and adds to her charm. She is a little princess after all, and she will pout with a sigh if her human subjects don't bend to her desires. Bonteri is calm and independent but also people-centered. She has a low energy level, making her a great fit for apartment living. She is a true lap dog, always seeking cuddles and wanting to be near you. She does not bark excessively and is a quick learner, especially when food is involved. She is not a chewer or a biter and remains quite calm in most situations.
