My Story
Although Buddy and Bonnie did not come from the same litter, they did come from the same original owner. The owner was from another country and had nine children. Buddy and Bonnie were born just weeks apart in a dirty , almost junk yard like building. Their mothers (one a newfie and one a small lab) were both jet black and very laid back. No one knows what the fathers were, as they never showed their muzzles. All the brothers and sisters were given away, and Bonnie and Buddy were kept for the little kids to play with. The puppies and momma dogs were given spinach and rice to eat, and daily found their way to my house to eat dog food. The owner gave the older dogs a lethal dose of ivermictin , trying to rid the mothers of heart worms. However, the puppies were spared. One day after the pups were around twothe family loaded up their stuff, and all the kids , and left for another state, leaving behind Buddy and Bonnie. As the family pulled out of the driveway, kids waving good bye, and Buddy and Bonnie chasing the car, the family left them. I could see Bonnie and Buddy slowly waking back to the abandoned house. After a few days, they arrived at my house. You will never find two nicer dogs. Buddy and Bonnie both are sweet, timid, and wanting a owner that will love them.I would keep them, but it is not fair to them, as I have four dogs of my own, and they deserve someone to love them all by themselves. Buddy has a smile that appears every once in a while, its like the "got milk" smile. He will take you for a walk, by gently putting your hand in his mouth. He lays on his back and lets you rub him. Bonnie, is all about the LOVE. She craves it. She is so sweet, kind hearted and cling to you. My hope is that anyone that adopts Buddy and Bonnie will love them. Their whole lives have not been pleasant. Not really mistreated, more like ignored. Please give them a good home and LOVE them.
Bonnie is 3yrs old. She is good with other dogs and kids. Bonnie is updated on shots, spayed, dewormed, microchipped, and heartworm neg. Her adoption fee is $100
