BONNIE | FEMALE | Approx. date of birth March 06, 2024 **Currently being fostered in Canada** Oh my goodness, is Bonnie from the Baytree Litter ever ready to steal the hearts of her new family with her big pointy ears and beautiful loving eyes. Bonnie and her siblings came to the shelter very fearful of humans as it seems as they were severely abused by their previous owner. It has taken a little while for Bonnie to open up but she has a heart of gold. When she first arrived, she wouldn't eat around any humans and when held would lose all control of her bowels. Although, still very understandably scared of the world around her, she has learned to open up to those that have continued to show her love and affection. She is shy and it will take patience from her new family to show her that the world doesn't have to be scary. But, once she learns to trust she is a very loving, curious pup, who is willing to be your best friend. She has a playful spirit that is just begging to shine through. She follows the lead of the other older dogs in the shelter and copies everything they do! If she had another furry friend to help build her confidence, she could take on the world as a strong independent gal! She is a mellow pup still figuring out the world around her. She does love a good cuddle, but in very limited doses. Because of her timidness and need for patience, ideally Bonnie would like a home with kids 12 and older.
