My Story

Please contact foster at [email protected] - Eager to please - Loves to chew on her toys - Very affectionate - Needs house training - Gets very mousy when excited, I would say no small kids - Sleeps in her crate - Loves all people she met Bonnie A1227548 Bonnie is a gem. She is calm, sweet, loving and adorable. We took her out for a daycation. She was a little timid but very calm as we put her on the harness. She was calm and easy to load into the car. She rode in a crate in the back of the SUV and was calm and did great. We drove to a nearby nature preserve. We walked her 1.5 miles on the trails. She walks gently on the leash and does not pull. She does like to dart in front of your feet sometimes so be careful not to accidentally kick her or trip over her. We walked past a barking Pomeranian and Bonnie seemed timid, she tried to stay as far from the dog as possible. She did not bark or show any sign of aggression whatsoever. She kept her cool and continued her walk unbothered. We took her to accompany us on the patio at The Pita Wheel.m restaurant. She laid down calmly and enjoyed drinking water and having some treats. She was very chill and relaxed. I sat down on the patio on the ground and she climbed into my lap to cuddle and enjoy some good scratches. She does not jump at all. She would make an easy foster. She seems like she would be crate trainable and enjoyed resting in the crate when we drove her. Next we went to a local coffee shop. Bonnie was calm around people. She is not overly friendly or interested in getting petted, but more just a quiet observer. Bonnie enjoyed a pup cup of whipped cream. We did a slow stroll around the local park and Bonnie enjoyed rolling and shimmying on her back in the grass. Bonnie would make a great hiking companion, couch cuddle buddy, and I suspect a good brewery dog. I am assuming she would be dog friendly based on her submissive and calm body language with the Pomeranian however we did not actually test her with any dogs so thats unconfirmed. Highly adoptable.
