This story is an amazing story of persistence, kindness, and trust. These five puppies(Bandit, Boss, Blitz,Bonnie and Brandy), were found by one of our southern partners near the base of an oak tree along a remote stretch of road, deep in the woods near the Mississippi/Tennessee state line. Momma Dog was spotted first, hunting for food next to the roadside, and he could tell that she had puppies somewhere. After setting out food and water for over one month, she finally trusted him enough to bring her puppies out of the dense woods and placed them at the base of the oak tree close to the road for him to help. We are glad she did. Mama is also glad she did, as she and her puppies are now in a home with soft beds and regular meals. Mama will also be up for adoption soon. First, she needs us to find homes for her beautiful puppies. The puppies' temperaments are happy, playful, and fun-loving. They are very smart and outgoing. Like any puppy, they will require puppy training, but they are really the best puppies! They enjoy being a part of the household, and they seek the affection of people. ATTENTION PUPPY ADOPTERS: You must attend training/behavior classes with your new dog unless you are experienced dog owners and your adoption coordinator is comfortable with your experience.
