Bon Bon (Bonnie)

Hi my name is Bon Bon (Bonnie)! I was found as stray by MCACC last year and was chosen by the MCC Veterinary Technology program to be removed from county and brought there as a teaching assistant. During my time at MCC I met so many people and loved everybody. I received top notch care and was given all my vaccines, a microchip, I was spayed and I had a dental cleaning done. When the end of the semester came I had not been adopted and I would have had to go back to MCACC and my fate was unknown. Luckily The Barking Lot was able to save me and put me in a foster home so I could find my forever home. I am a 3.5yr old pittie mix. I am only 32lbs and have somewhat short legs! I am potty trained and a little energetic, but I can also be a big couch potato a lot of the times. My personality: I am an extremely affectionate girl, I show my affection to my humans by rubbing against them, giving lots of kisses, and just wanting to be next to them at all times. A little too clingy if I might say so myself, but in the most adorable way possible. Dogs: I am a hit or miss around other dogs, sometimes I like them, sometimes I just tolerate them but I will keep my guard up around them (especially around other female dogs). My foster mom has a very mellow boy dog that I absolutely adore, he is somewhat submissive but will immediately correct me if I am being too rough with him. I usually listen when he does. I love love playing with him though and we wrestle each other every morning, as long as toys are not involved as I do guard toys and food with other dogs. Not my humans though, i love playing with my toys with my humans. Speaking of toys, did I mention how much I LOVE them? Cats: I absolutely DO NOT like cats and will want to chase them, I get so upset when I see a cat on my daily morning walk and all I want to do is go chase it. So please dont adopt me if you have cats in the house. My ideal home: since I am picky with other dogs, and I get somewhat jealous and try to come in between my foster mom and her dog when shes paying attention to him, my ideal home will be one with no other animals but myself.
