Bogie

A volunteer spent some time with Bogie and told us this about him: "Bogie is a very happy and playful boy! He took care of business as soon as we got in the yard. Afterwards, we played fetch with a tennis ball." Bogie attended playgroup on 7/24. He was friendly but nervous when approached. He would hesitate to be sniffed or sniff back, he eventually did open up with high energy to play and he did really well socializing overall when he did open up. Another volunteer recently spent time with Bogie and told us this about him: "Bogie is such a playful, energetic boy who loves to give and receive hugs. He couldn't wait to get outside and immediately ran to inspect a play yard, where he promptly relieved himself. He loved to run to me but would slow down before he ran into me. He likes to jump and leapt onto the bench in the yard several times, giving me many stand-up hugs. He would sit when asked and would get very wiggly waiting for his treat reward. "He is very playful, but he calms down when I ask him to. At first, he would chase a tennis ball and return it. After a couple of times, he lost interest and preferred to follow me. He liked standing in the kiddie pool to cool off. "His tail wagged when dogs walked by, and he acted like he was ready to engage in dog play. He didn't pull on his leash on the way back. Bogie was so much fun and was always ready to play and have a good time."
