My Story

Hello everyone. My name is Bodie. I was born on 2/23/10. I was the 6th out 7 pups. I am a very happy and energetic puppy and I LOVE to give you lots kisses. One thing you will notice with me is that my eyes are each 2 different colors (brown and blue). It's what is called sectoral heterochromia. It is a genetic trait of the husky breed which I inherited from my mom who was 1/2 husky. Although I don't really know my name yet, I do come when you whistle for me. Since I am still with some of my siblings, all my foster mom has to do is yell "Puppies" and we all come running from wherever we are in the yard. My foster mom has 2 little girls in the house and although I do fine with kids, I do tend to jump up a lot and in my excitement I get a little nippy but it's not in a mean way. So I might do best in a home without small kids while I work on my manners. I get along great with other dogs and I have seen cats but I don't really know what to make of them yet. I am paper trained but not housebroken yet. I also do pretty good in a crate for a couple of hours at a time. Will you please consider adopting me? If you are interested in adopting Bode please go to our web site at www.whitepawsgsr.com to fill out the online adoption application. If you have any questions please email Nancy at [email protected] Bodie is being fostered in Grafton WI and will be neutered before adoption
