Location- I'm at the Canine Behavior Center- Please arrive at the shelter no later than 4pm. I'm Enrolled In A Training Program: Yes-I am enrolled in our LIFT University program. This is a program for dogs to learn confidence in new situations, and also to work on their impulse control. Slumber Pawty Eligible: Yes Recommend a quiet home environment! Bobbie is fearful at first with new people, but very quickly warms up to be a super sweet girl! She loves being the center of attention and getting pets. She loves toys, especially ones that squeak! She has such silly, quirky little personality hiding underneath her shy exterior. Hellooo! I'm Bobbie! I'm a 1.5-year-old ball of energy ready to run my way into your heart. I'm 49 pounds of pure fun with an athletic build, squatty body, and the most beautiful brindle fur. I also have the most expressive ears you'll ever see! I'm a bright and happy girl, but I wasn't always this way. I started my journey at Wayside after I was abandoned in Wayside's Agility Park. No one came for me so I was brought into the shelter. I was quickly overwhelmed by the new sights and sounds of shelter life and confused as to why I was left here. I was not the happy girl I am now and needed a lot of extra support. Lucky for me, staff quickly tended to my needs offered me a stay at the Canine Behavior Center. I was enrolled in LIFT University to help with my confidence and stress. I am thriving in the program, but still take some time warming up to new people. Once I know I can trust you though, I'll be your best friend! Now the fun stuff! Let me tell you why folks call me an "absolute joy"! I have a reputation of being quite a goofball. I often get wild zoomies in our play yards and love splashing around in the pool! I'm great at self-entertaining with stuffies so you can sit back, relax, and watch me play! Speaking of stuffies, toys are EVERYTHING! Remember that. Once I'm tuckered out, I love to roll in the grass and sploot myself out with a big smile on my face. I enjoy playing with dogs as well! I'm a high energy player so I will do best with a dog who can match my playstyle. I love to chase and tumble. My best friend Bullet and I love wrestling in the pool together. Check him out too! After a long day of play, I enjoy cuddling up to my favorite people. I love leaning in for pets and stretching myself across your lap. Doesn't that sound nice? ADOPTION INFORMATION: All Wayside Waifs pets are spayed/neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations prior to adoption. Please note that in order to make the best match possible, potential adopters must come to the Wayside Waifs in person to meet with an adoption counselor and complete the adoption process. All members of the household (including other pets, if possible) should be present to ensure the chosen pet is compatible with everyone. We do not place holds or do adoptions over the phone and we do not ship pets.
