What’s more fun than a itty-bitty puppy? A BIG AND FLUFFY FULL OF FUN…BOAZ!!!

Don’t let the size of this big boy fool you….He’s All Puppy! Friendly can’t begin to explain him. He enjoys people, other dogs and puppies too! PLAY is his favorite four letter word…WALK seems to be right up there too!

While he does not appear aggressive toward cats, he has backed out of a cat room and was very intimidated when introduced to them…obviously, poor Boaz has had a past “cat experience” which he would rather keep… in the past.

At only about a year of age, this handsome young man has only just begun to live….This gentle giant IS all about love and affection. Being a big boy isn’t his fault…He’s an Alaskan Malamute! …Big only means there is more of him to love and more of him to love you too. With some patience, training and a stable and loving home, Boaz will reward you with his willingness for acceptance and praise. He is already crate-trained and is working on housebreaking . . . there are also signs that he is considering a "peace treaty" with the foster family's cat!

If you give him a BIG chance at a new life, a home of his own and lots and lots of love, Boaz is sure to return that love every day for the rest of his life. His heart is bigger than he is and he just needs someone to understand that inside this big furry body is still the soul of a little puppy waiting to start again. He needs a guiding hand, the staying power and understanding of someone who knows he WILL make mistakes, but who WILL love him in spite of his shortcomings and help nurture him into becoming a warm and loving gentleman of a Malamute who will make you proud…and still have time for fun in the process!

Little puppies do grow up and before long…there was must have been dog than his former owners wanted, because Boaz was found "on the lam" with his brother, Pete (who was sadly put down due to the need for surgery that the shelter just couldn't afford). Big isn’t bad…it’s just not for everyone and unfortunately too many people don’t think beyond the puppy that is in front of them. This is so unfair to the dog! He loves with all his heart forever, but when inconvenience got in the way, he was the first to go! Sadly, this happens too many times. Boaz is just one of many.

Please look beyond big and into his eyes. See the heart that is beating just for you and know he will love forever. Give Boaz the opportunity that his last home never gave him…a chance to grow up. This time, for Life!
