My Story

6-10-09 Sweet Bo went to an adoptive home but they are moving and can't take Bo with them. He thought he had found his forever home - please give him a chance to think that again! We'd like to bring Bo north at the end of June - please consider fostering or adopting this cutie pie.

Here is what his adoptive family had to say about him: He still just has that curious puppy nature about him and that's understandable. Its funny, we kept hearing how active he is, yet he really sleeps a lot. All of us go out in the backyard to run around and he might play for a short while but then he just wants to curl up next to me and let me pet him. (Which I don't mind at all). :)

We took him out on his leash to my son's baseball practice and he did wonderfully with the kids petting him, really loved being out and getting to sniff around.

He's been doing well in the house and other than chewing on a few toys left out he is doing well.

1/7/09 Bo is the quintessential hound dog! He has been voted the sweetest dog at our partner shelter. He gets along great with other dogs and humans. He was found by a good samaritan and was brought to the shelter. He has the most beautiful eyes and longs to be a part of a family. Please consider saving him today. You won't be dissappointed. Bo is a little too interested in cats, so a feline-free home will be needed. **All our dogs are at partner shelters in the south unless marked "In Maine" or "In New England". Bo is healthy and can travel north if you'll agree to foster or adopt him. **
