Bo

Bo is our longest serving resident. He has been looking for a place to call home for over a year, since April 2023. Bo came to Big Dog Rescue via a Craigslist ad. An animal activist posted him after the activist had picked Bo up from the street. Bo had been dumped with injuries from a dog attack. The activist had the injuries treated and Bo came to us a week later. We have really enjoyed having him and getting to know him. He is reserved with people at first but starts to warm up quickly after spending time with someone. He prefers ladies, both of the canine and human variety. He is a total posh baby. He prefers living indoors and likes having clean feet. He likes having a special area for himself, especially at night. He enjoys getting petted but most of all, he loves palling around with our Dog Ambassador, Daisy, a sweet shepherd mix. Bo needs someone that understands he must be fed alone, away from other pets. Bo is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, and prefers his heartworm preventative or any other medication in a lump of cheese.
